On Sunday May 2 is World Rhythms Community Day at The Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge MA. At 1:00 I will be presenting kamishibai stories as part of the celebration.
The Chief Educator at the Museum, Melinda Georgeson, is interested to have kamishibai introduced to her museum patrons. The Norman Rockwell Museum is dedicated to storytelling through illustration. Kamishibai present tales equally through image and performance, and will be an exciting addition to World Rhythms Community Day. The museum can be reached at 413-298-4100. I agree that some words that simply does not make sense, but hey, look at it this way ... at least your child learn more how the words before his time. I do not think it's a waste of money. If it was not a gift, I paid for it.
